The new PUBG PC Patch Notes Update #29 aims to make the PUBG gameplay much better when it contains new outstanding upgrades, bug fixes, and many new contents.

With the release of the new PUBG PC Update #29 patch notes, players can check out a wide range of awesome additions and balances. In this PUBG new update, you will get access to the Tactical Map Markers added to the game for much better communication between the squad and duo teams. More than that, in Custom Matches and Camp Jackal, you will be able to use further spawn kit options. Mid-Update Bugfixes


  • Fixed an issue where killfeed messages appear inaccurate when a player is killed by frag grenades in certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes characters appear to be floating above the ground while running.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes players located near the water do not receive damage from frag grenades exploding in the shallow water near them.

PUBG PC Survivor Pass 3: Wild Card

  • PUBG PC Survivor Pass 3: Wild Card will officially finish on June 5th as soon as the live servers get into the maintenance phase.
    • To claim all the earned rewards as well as buy all items from the coupon shop, you must do it quickly before June 26th.
    • You can only buy Premium Pass and Level Up Tickets prior to the live server maintenance on June 5th.
  • You will see the time remaining for the Survivor Pass in the game for 2 weeks before the end date of the pass.
    • When you buy Survivor Pass Premium, the pass end-date will be displayed to make sure that you want to buy the pass or not.


  • As soon as the Survivor Pass 3: Wild Card comes to a conclusion, you will be able to check your achievements and information about the rewards that you already obtained, the levels you already achieved, as well as the mission status that is sown on the results page.

    • The achievement completion percentage for every kind of mission (Daily, Weekly, Beginner, Premium) can be easily checked from the Missions tab.

Grace Period

  • A grace period will be given to all players so they can claim their rewards and earned XP when the Survivor Pass finishes, from June 5 until June 26 (before the starting of the Live Server maintenance).

  • You can claim the XP for the finished missions by using the Claim All button. Do this until June 26 (before the starting of the Live Server Maintenance)
  • You can go to the Coupon Shop to purchase items until June 26 (until the Live Server maintenance)
    • As soon as the Coupon Shop is closed, you cannot use the remaining coupons anymore.

The Vikendi map has now become more balanced thanks to this PUBG new update. Players can now get access to long guns with the MK47 mutant to experience an additional burst of firepower. With a better cover, you will find it easier to survive all those snipers. Also, you can drive more 4-wheel vehicles that are much better than snowbikes in this latest update.

  • Blue zone adjustments
  • Because the PUBG development team wanted to bring new better gameplay experiences around PUBG Vikendi, they made a decision on placing the first safe zone in more different areas. Also, they already cut down the waiting time between some blue zone phases.
    • Phase 1 safe zone will now appear in more various areas.
    • There was a small cut down in the waiting time between the early and late blue zone phases
    • There was also a decrease in the general match duration. It will be now cut down by 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • Modified the vehicle spawn rate
    • There was a change in the vehicle spawn rate in order to make the new blue zone settings much simpler.
      • The spawn rate of Snowbikes and Snowmobikes has been increased.
  • Modified the item spawn rate
    • The weapon spawn rates have been modified to make medium and long-range engagements much simpler. Some adjustments to the current attachments have been given out as well so as to bring more options to the gamers.
      • The item spawns on Vikendi map were also modified:
        • There was an increase in AR spawns by 1.4x
        • There was an increase in DMR by 2x
        • There was an increase in SR by 7x
      • There was a small decrease in the SMG, Shotgun, and Pistol Crossbow spawns
      • There was a small increase in attachment spawns.
      • There was a small increase in the high-powered scope spawns
  • Adjusted the cave balance
  • Because the Secret Cave is not a secret anymore, the development team made a change to the loot within to balance it closer to other places of Vikendi, which helps enhance the gameplay experience while still bringing good loot to people.
    • No more Care Packages in the cave.
      • But in this location, you will still spot high-quality non-crate loot.
    • There was an increase in the items spawned in the cave.
  • Item pool new changes
    • More attachments were added to the game, such as MK47 Mutant, Halfgrip, Thumbgrip and Laser Sight.
    • Eliminated Win94 and R45.
  • There was an increase in Moonlight weather condition percentage.

General Gameplay

  • In this PUBG PC patch, it is impossible now to throw grenades through the wire mesh.

Tactical Map Markers

  • There are some new Tactical Map Markers with 6 various marker types that are suitable for plenty of diverse situations (Attack, Danger, Defend, Loot, Regroup, Vehicle).
    • When you want to use the markers, start to open the world map, and the Tactical Map Marker wheel will be exposed when holding right click. You can transfer it to the wanted icon then release.
    • You are permitted to position one Tactical Map Marker or Standard marker at a time.
    • You will see the Tactical Map Markers on the world map, minimap, and compass in an identical way to the current map markers.

  • The appearance of the Flare Gun crosshair was altered to show as a circle when you aim at the right position to effectively summon a Special Care Package or Armored UAZ.
  • The Flare Gun status UI displayed was modified after summoning in a Special Care Package or Armored UAZ.
    • There is no more green flashing light as soon as the drop exits the plane.
    • It would remain there until the drop had touched on the ground for 30 seconds before that.

Introduced Spawn Kit Selection Option to PUBG PC via this latest update

A lot of Spawn Kit options for Custom Matches has been attached to PUBG PC in order to provide players with stronger customization options.

  • War Mode, War Mode: Conquest and Normal Mode in Custom Matches will now contain Spawn Kit selection option.
    • When you join the Platoon team mode, you will see that there is an option for every platoon to play by using a discrepant kit.

New Custom Match Spawn Kit Items

Exclusive added the Critical Response Kit and Mechanic’s Toolbox for use via Spawn Kits in Custom Matches. It is impossible to find these items in the standard matches.

  • The newly added kits will now also contain Critical Response Kit and Mechanic’s Toolbox (for Custom Matches only).
    • Critical Response Kit – With this Kit, when you resurrect your teammates like always, they will get up faster than traditionally resurrecting without using the Kit.
    • Mechanic’s Toolbox – Once you utilize this toolbox in a vehicle, some amounts of vehicle health will be recovered.

  • Feel free to choose Camp Jackal (Training Mode Map) for War Mode: Conquest in Custom Matches.

Observer Feature Improvements

  • Player List UI Improvements
    • You will see some icons on Kick and Report buttons.
      • X icon means Kick and Caution icon means Report.
      • It’s possible to view the Report button in the player list when you watch match replays.

Store Item Preview UI Improvement

  • When you take a look at an item set that stores multiple items. The preview is split into three categories to view the items much better, those categories are Character, Weapon, and Parachute.
    • Choose a specific item from the set if you want to preview a separate zoomed in the version of the image.
  • Feel free to equip or unequip all set items while previewing.

Improved UI to stop potential unjust advantage while spectating

  • If houses and other objects on the map are not fully loaded when you watch over your allies, the extra UI will cover the entire screen from snow to stop seeing players that wouldn’t otherwise be spotted.
    • The extra UI will be eliminated after finishing the loading.

Lobby UI Improvement

  • Upgraded the outside appearance of the icons that was like blurred in 4K resolution.
  • The third-party account that links button in the top right corner of the Lobby was eliminated.


  • Eliminated all FACEIT Global Summit signs together with banners from Vikendi and Sanhok.

Replay System

  • Made a new update to the replay system version. You are unable to play the current replays that were recorded before this update.

Bug Fixes


  • An issue in which players would be able to receive extra damage or die when they get down on specific locations was fixed.
  • It is impossible for grenades to be tossed through the wire mesh.
  • Mended a problem in which the screen would shake a lot when ADS and leaning against a wall or the corner of some objects.
  • Fixed an issue in which the game mode would alter occasionally when a team was being made.
  • Fixed a problem in which several bullets were able to traverse a wall when shooting in specific conditions.
  • Fixed an issue in which the player’s list would appear in an uncommon way when the player was choosing a custom match in the replays list.
  • Fixed a problem with a vehicle slipping more than planned while a player was driving.
  • Made a solution to the problem in which the safe zone circle UI would not show accurately under specific circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue making the patch notes close when the player was clicking an empty zone of the notes.
  • Fixed a problem that halted healing items from being employed when the players were holding a weapon and executing an emote.
  • Fixed a problem that enabled some unplanned types of weapons to be employed from the back seat of an Aquarail.
  • Already solved an issue in which the sound of equipping or unequipping pistols was played twice.
  • Made a solution to the problem that caused the animation while a grenade was being cooked from being reset when the inventory was opening.
  • Made a fix to a visual problem with the chocoTaco parachute skin for female players that refrained some elements from emerging on the backpack.
  • Made a fix to an issue in which the game result screen would immobilize for 2-3 seconds in custom match Esport mode while observing.
  • Made a fix to an issue in which loading UI would not be visible while observing and changing to a player that was more than 1km away.
  • Fixed a problem in which the Tactical Map Marker would not function well while watching after one player died.
  • Made a fix to an issue in which the animation would not function when reloading while impacted by a Stun Grenade.
  • Already fixed an issue in which teammates UI icons are not used the priority by their distance when being overlapped from the outside scope of the mini-map.
  • A problem about the post-match screen being showed wrongly in zombie mode custom matches was eventually fixed.
  • Made a fix to a bug in which teammate nicknames and kills were shown in the wrong order in the post-match screen of a custom game.
  • Made a fix to the observer issue in which a player that was moving seemed to be floating when observed intermittently.
  • Fixed another bug that halted players from placing markers around the boost UI.
  • Fixed a problem in which an error message is output when the player was trying to use a cooked throwable instead of a throwable in the inventory.
  • Already fixed an issue in which players could auto-move forwards when in vehicles or when parachuting by opening the system menu.


  • Made a solution to a problem where items spawn in unapproachable areas of Docks on Sanhok.
  • Made a solution to a problem in which the player camera could traverse a specific wall at Paradise Resort on Sanhok while staying nearby it.
  • Made a fix to a bug that enabled grenades to be tossed through the underside of the parasols at Paradise Resort on Sanhok.
  • Made a solution to a problem halting players from getting up after being prone under certain hut boardwalks on Sanhok map.
  • Made a solution to an issue in which the lightning effects could change suddenly on stone buildings that have bent roofs on Sanhok map.
