A new payload mode is going to be added to PUBG Mobile via a 0.15.0 update. How cool it is, right? According to the previous reports, PUBG Mobile game was scheduled to get a new 0.14.5 update. But now, the team development has confirmed that this brand new update would be known as 0.15.0 through a tweet from the PUBG Mobile official Twitter account.
Via the tweet, players can know that a forthcoming feature called Payload Mode will be introduced in PUBG Mobile update. There is an early preview of this new arcade mode with an image of a player shooting an RPG at a helicopter mentioned in the tweet as well. In addition to these, players can also get access to the Royale Pass Season 9 with plenty of new interesting features awaiting them ahead.
About the new arcade mode – Payload Mode featured in PUBG Mobile 0.15.0
As can be seen from the preview image, you may have seen that there are some interesting weapons featured in the mode, like an RPG and a helicopter. The outside appearance of RPG is quite the same as the RPG-7 launcher that you have experienced in the Darkest Night mode. This new RPG will probably have an enemy locking ability that is the same as a homing missile launcher as well as a 4X scoped that is already installed, which is the same as the VSS gun.
PUBG Payload Mode was formerly seen in a Chinese beta. In some earlier reports, they said that the new arcade mode would let players utilize the helicopters to search for the loot crates that are under the ground. You will see that the crates that are underground would be marked with a big halo above them. When you obtain some conditions, they will go up to the ground level. In these crates, you may find modern weapons, such as RPG and other precious items.
The in-game helicopters are scheduled to go with upgraded control mechanics that are the same as other controls for vehicles. Also, the helicopters will be powered up by fuel. However, they can be very fragile to damage and if you use new weapons like RPG, you may take them down easily.
Together with the new arcade Payload mode, the new PUBG Mobile 0.15.0 update is scheduled to release a Survivor Mode as well. In this mode, players will have to go hunt and create fires in the landscape of Vikendi that is fully covered by snow so they can survive.
